300g carrots, peeled and finely chopped
125 g mushrooms
300g dried lasagna

Stove-top Lasagne

A traditional lasagne recipe is a must have for feeding a hungry crowd or as a mid week treat. Try our simple and quick (no bake!) but delicious version and make it your own by adding whatever hidden veg (shh!) you can sneak into it...

Preparation

Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the onion with the herbs for a few minutes until the onions turn translucent.

Add the carrots, garlic and mushrooms and fry a few more minutes.

Then add the tomatoes, water and lasagne sheets and simmer for 30 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time add the mince and cook until piping hot throughout.

Serve immediately and finish with a few basil and Parmesan leaves.
